Preheat oven to 150oC. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Combine sieved flour, rice flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Rub in butter and knead gently until a smooth dough forms.
Transfer dough onto a floured surface and roll to your desired thickness. Using a round cookie cutter, cut out shapes and transfer to a lined baking tray.
Bake in a pre-heated oven for 20-30 minutes or until light golden. Allow to cool.
Using either an icing pen or melted chocolate in a piping bag fitted with a fine round decorating tip, pipe the spider or spider web designs onto the biscuit. For the bats, we dusted cocoa powder over a transfer.
