Step 1
Pour boiling water into a jug. Add citric acid, gelatin and jelly crystals. Whisk for 1 minute making sure that all the crystals have dissolved.
Step 2
Pour the mixture into a tin lined with baking paper. Place into fridge to set for 2 hours.
Step 3
Once set, cut the jelly into snakes or bite size pieces.
If you prefer a less sour taste, reduce the citric acid to 1 teaspoon
A square tin (20cm x 20cm) can also be used
Keep any leftover jelly snakes in the fridge
