Preheat oven to 190oC. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in milk until a soft dough forms. Form into a round and place on the tray.
Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven, cut the loaf in half and cook for a further 5 minutes to ensure centre is cooked. Place on a wire rack to cool before serving.
