Creamy peppercorn sauce

Step 1

If steak has been cooked in a skillet, add butter and scrape the bottom of the pan. Add shallots and cook until soft.

Step 2

Add broth, allow to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until it has reduced by half. Turn heat to medium, and add cream and pepper. Allow to thicken.

Step 3

Adjust taste with salt and pepper then serve.
