Green Split Pea Hummus

Step 1

Rinse McKenzie’s Green Split Peas and place in a pot with garlic and 4 cups of water. Bring to the boil, then lower heat and simmer for 35 minutes until peas are cooked through. Drain and put aside.

Step 2

In a food processor, add the cooked split peas, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, salt and pepper. Blitz until smooth and serve in a bowl. Serve with a sprinkle of chilli flakes and a drizzle of olive oil.
