Pre-heat oven to 180C degrees (160C degree fan-forced). Grease a 6 hole donut pan.
Whisk together the coconut oil, maple syrup, egg and vanilla until well combined.
Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add wet ingredients and mix well. Spoon between donut pans and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden. Allow to cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing to a cooling rack.
For glaze, whisk together all ingredients and smooth over the donuts. If glaze thickens up, put over a bowl of boiling water for a minute.
