Spicy Chicken with Dhal

1 tablespoon oil
1kg chicken pieces
1 onion chopped
2 teaspoons garlic crushed
1 teaspoon McKenzie's Ground Ginger
2 tablespoons Clive Of India Authentic Curry Powder
1 cup McKenzie's Yellow Split Peas
2 cups water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
To taste McKenzie's Ground White Pepper
To taste McKenzie's Australian Natural Sea Salt
2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped
Directions
Step 1
Heat oil and brown chicken in batches. Drain excess oil from pan, add onion, garlic and McKenzie's Ground Ginger, fry until soft. Add Clive Of India Authentic Curry Powder and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Return chicken to pan, add McKenzie's Yellow Split Peas and water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer gently for 1 hour stirring occasionally, to prevent peas sticking.
