Spicy Chicken with Dhal

| 1 tablespoon | oil |
| 1kg | chicken pieces |
| 1 | onion chopped |
| 2 teaspoons | garlic crushed |
| 1 teaspoon | McKenzie's Ground Ginger |
| 2 tablespoons | Clive Of India Authentic Curry Powder |
| 1 cup | McKenzie's Yellow Split Peas |
| 2 cups | water |
| 1 tablespoon | lemon juice |
| To taste | McKenzie's Ground White Pepper |
| To taste | McKenzie's Australian Natural Sea Salt |
| 2 tablespoons | coriander leaves chopped |
Directions
Step 1
Heat oil and brown chicken in batches. Drain excess oil from pan, add onion, garlic and McKenzie's Ground Ginger, fry until soft. Add Clive Of India Authentic Curry Powder and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Return chicken to pan, add McKenzie's Yellow Split Peas and water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer gently for 1 hour stirring occasionally, to prevent peas sticking.
Step 2
Add lemon juice, McKenzie's Ground White Pepper and McKenzie's Australian Natural Sea Salt to taste.
Step 3
Stir in coriander just before serving.
Step 4
Serve Spicy Chicken with Dhal with rice and sambals.
