Red Kidney Beans and Rice

| 1/2 packet | McKenzie's Red Kidney Beans |
| 1 cup | Rice |
| 250g | Pork Sausages sliced into chunks |
| 1 large | oinion chopped |
| 1 | Green chilli pepper chopped |
Directions
Step 1
Prepare McKenzie's Red Kidney Beans as instructed on pack and fully drain. Prepare the rice by boiling in 4 cups of water for about 15 minutes.
Step 2
Saute the sausages, onions and green chilli pepper together until sausage are golden brown.
Step 3
Add the prepared beans and 1/2 cup of water and allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Serve over cooked rice.
Step 4
Hints: The green chilli pepper can be replaced with a red or green capsicum if desired. Feel free to add desired spices to taste such as salt, pepper and a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
