Jill's Seed Tapioca (Sago) Plum Pudding
Delicious and moist plum pudding.
|1 cup||dried mixed fruit|
|200 grams||plums pitted|
|1/2 cup||brown sugar|
|4 tablespoons||McKenzie's Seed Tapioca (Sago)|
|1 teaspoon||McKenzie's Mixed Spice|
|1/2 teaspoon||McKenzie's Bi-Carb Soda|
|Self raising||flour to bind|
Soak McKenzie's Seed Tapioca (Sago) overnight in enough water to cover well.
Mix butter and sugar. Stir in McKenzie's Seed Tapioca (Sago), breadcrumbs, plums, dried mixed fruit and McKenzie's Mixed Spice.
Dissolve McKenzie's Bi-Carb Soda in the milk and add to mixture. Add enough self raising flour to bind.
Steam on a double boiler for three hours or until pudding is cooked. Serve hot with custard or freshly whipped cream.
