David's Polynesian Style Spareribs
For a taste of the tropics, this BBQ sensation is a sweet and bitey pork rib recipe that can be used as a starter or a main.

| 1 teaspoon | ginger finely chopped |
| 1 clove | garlic crushed |
| 1 tablespoon | peanut oil |
| 1 1/2 tablespoons | soy sauce |
| 1 cup | apricot nectar |
| 1 cup | pineapple juice |
| 1/2 teaspoon | Clive Of India Authentic Curry Powder |
| 1/3 teaspoon | McKenzie's Oregano Flakes |
| Few drops | tabasco sauce |
| 2kg | pork spareribs |
| to taste | McKenzie's Chilli Flakes |
Directions
Step 1
Combine fruit juices, soy sauce, peanut oil and garlic. Stir in ginger, Clive Of India Authentic Curry Powder, McKenzie's Oregano Flakes, McKenzie's Chilli Flakes and tabasco.
Step 2
Arrange the spareribs in a large baking dish, pour over the marinade and coat the spareribs thoroughly.
Allow to marinate for at least 30 mins.
Step 3
On high heat, sear the flesh side of the ribs before reducing the heat, then slow cook each side until cooked to your liking.
