Pamela's Lamb Shank & Red Lentil Soup
A tasty lamb shank and red lentil soup.

| 1 dessertspoon | vegetable stock powder |
| To taste | McKenzie's Whole Black Peppercorns |
| To taste | McKenzie's Natural Sea Salt |
| 1 1/2 litres | water |
| 1 medium | onion chopped |
| 1 | lamb shank |
| 1 packet | McKenzie's Homestyle Soup Hearty Red Lentil |
| 1 bottle | tomato pasta sauce |
| 1 cup | thin pasta or noodles |
| Toasted | croutons |
| Grated | parmesan |
Directions
Step 1
Place lamb shank and chopped onion into a large saucepan with water, add McKenzie's Natural Sea Salt, McKenzie's Whole Black Peppercorns and vegetable stock, bring to boil and then simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Add McKenzie's Homestyle Soup Hearty Red Lentil and tomato pasta sauce and cook for 1 hour. Turn off heat, add pasta or noodles broken into small pieces, leave to cool. Heat to serve with toasted croutons and parmesan cheese.
