For dirty saucepans that don't respond to steel scourers, add cold water and one to two tablespoons of McKenzie's Bi-carb Soda and bring to the boil. When cool, finish off with steel wool.

2 x 75g McKenzie's Citric Acid
1 cup McKenzie's Bi-carb Soda
1/2 cup Silver Star Starch
Almond Oil
Food Colouring
Essential Oil
1. Mix dry ingredients together in a medium size mixing bowl until thoroughly combined. Divide mixture and set one half aside.
2. In a small bowl combine 6 drops of Essential oil, 2-3 teaspoons Almond Oil and 10 drops of Food Colouring - mix together until well combined.
3. Pours this mixture into the dry mix and stir quickly with a teaspoon to prevent fizzing. Continue mixing with your fingertips (rubbing in), working the oil mixture into the dry mix. Test by squeezing mix in your hand - it should remain compressed.
4. Lightly oil mould (use simple moulds - hearts, shells or star) and fill mould (1/3 at a time) with mixture and press in firmly - turn mould over and bang firmly on a flat surface. Gently ease the Bath Bomb out of the mould - leave for a least 24 hours - it is then ready to use. Repeat for remaining dry mix.
HELPFUL HINTS-
Ensure all equipment is dry - any moisture will cause the mixtue to fizz.
For a cheaper alternative, substitute light Olive Oil for Almond Oil.
Use Herbal Tea to give a textured look - combine with dry ingredients.
Rose petals either added to dry ingredients or put in mould first look great.
Using this recipe you can also make Bath Crystals, follow the instructions, just leave out the Almond Oil.
If you Bath Bombs crumble, throw them in the bath anyway.
Please note they will only fizz in warm water not cold.

1 cup McKenzie Citric Acid
1 tablespoon Almond Oil
20 drops Essential Oil
Food Colouring
Dried herbs or flowers (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 225C.
2. Sift McKenzie's Bi-carb soda and McKenzie's Citric Acid together into a mixing bowl.
3. Add almond oil, essential oil, food colouring and dried herbs or flowers, stir to combine.
4. Spoon powder into patty pans or moulds and bake for 4-6 minutes.
5. Leave to cool, then tip out with care as they are very fragile.
